Seven Dials in Bloom

To support the West End revival, we installed a collection of oral designs to welcome visitors back to Seven Dials as part of our Seven Dials in Bloom project. Partnering with the social enterprise, Urban Growth London, a collection of oral designs were installed to celebrate the recovery of the

West End. The installations were crafted from re-used and re-purposed items including theatre seats and an old piano and planted with pollinator friendly plants recommended by the Wild West End, to encourage biodiversity.

Our community partner, Young Camden Foundation, was selected as charity partner for the initiative, with many young people given the opportunity for hands-on involvement in the installation. A tap donation point for visitors was installed on each of the seven installations.

Camden Council’s scheme to increase al fresco seating was also an opportunity for us to install twenty-four planters around the pavement seating areas which were introduced so that visitors could sit safely outside, with attractive and biodiverse planting. As the al fresco scheme has been extended for another year, we have renewed the planting for winter.
